These come from a Japanese game, so it might be difficult to crack.

I think the hardest part here is most of the tools that were written to work with these files were written for XP haha. I was able to find one thing that worked with windows 10 to play the STR you can use https://www.zophar.net/download_file/3295 It's a custom format Sony wrote so it's not really a matter of the language or anything just a custom video type.

haven't seen anything on FAD file though I'll poke around a bit more. (Disclaimer: I'm not really great with audio and video formats)
