Hello. Did someone from this forum managed to edit font in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on PSP?
Do you have some scripts or tools? Or at least file format?

EDIT: Ok, I have tried FontEditor, but there is also FontTool which I haven't noticed earlier. I will check it.

Ok, this FontTool's usage is:

What is a difference between and file?
What are correct parameters for this tool?


btw How to use FontEditor? I got "Error!" message each time I load font file.

So I'm using FontEditor and FontTool to replace font in DATA.ARC but I don't see any difference when I start game with changed font. This means that font has to be somewhere else or I'm doring something wrong. Any help?

Nevermind. Font is in EBOOT.BIN file. Issue solved.

Btw. Does anyone have good text converter or editor for this game?

The repository mentioned above has such converter (TextConv).

I've compiled almost all tools from there, except patcher. Also, they were compiled "as is" and something may not work as expected. Command line only tools should work fine, but for FontEditor you should somehow extract proper kft font from fonteur resource stream (for wii version) or eboot (for ps2 version). At least, I think so...
