So I am able to dump textures from ast file with offzip but some edited DDS textures cause crashes after repacking but not all? Any help would be great the files are attached.

After playing around I got the textures to work but im not sure why?? Files attached

It seems like when I take a stock dumped texture from offzip. Then open that texture in photoshop and make no edits just save to intel dds format and repack the file it dosnt crash. Then I tried editing that file and it dosnt crash now? Does that make any sense to someone?

well if you open a stock and modded image of same name
in hex editor and compare the bytes you see at offset 0xa
in the dds header is 0x2 in stock and 0xA in modded version.

well then if you compare the modded working and modded-that-crash
of the same name you see different value at 0x18 for depth value.
just compare the bytes and keep trying til you get same as stock.

Ok I'm not that good at reading hex. So there are values that I should be able to edit to match stock but not effect the texture look? Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help.
I just copied the whole dds header from the stock file on my modded file but the game still crashes when loading that texture.
Even the untouched files crashes the game. I had a bad storage card.

All seems to work now!! Many thanks.

Seems to work better and less random crashes. Some textures it will not help. Not sure why but the only problematic ones are the Jersey texture.

Still have crashing issue so frustrating don't know what else to try!!!
