Hi! I'm trying to get access to sprites, backgrounds and sounds of an old and less known point-and-click-adventure I really love called "Hansel and Gretel & The Enchanted Castle). I'm sure the files are contained in the HAG.TGR file on the cd-rom. I tried to figure out the compressing algorithm with a hex-editor but I couldn't find any real header. This archive looks weird to me. All the old TerraGlyph Interactive games used those .TGR files as archives. Do you guys have and ideas or hints how I could get access to the data? If you need anything else than the HAG.TGR, please let me know! Thank you very much! :)

I uploaded the HAG.TGR here. Click on the LITTLE BLUE Download Button!

I uploaded the hole ISO here. Cick on the LITTLE BLUE Download Button!

I've seen the HAG.TGR seems not to be encrypted or compressed itself because there is plain text or error messages and some cursors (you can the the pattern in ANSI in hex-editor) visible. But the other data (sounds and spritesetc.) seems to be compressed somehow. Can anybody help me? Thanks!

Thank you very very much! It exports a lot :) But unfortunately I now have hundreds of .DAT files (and some others with text of error messages in it) I can't handle :D Do you have any further ideas how to extract the actual sprite image and the sounds from them? Thank you :)

Unfortunately the data is just raw or custom format.

What does this mean? Is there a chance to get the sprites and sounds out of it? has anyone expierence with such things? Or is there a way to read out sprites and sounds from a memory dump?
