Saints Row The Third Remastered game was recently released. But I see nobody doing anything about this subject. Or nobody cares.

The extension of the files is in *.vpp_pc format. Previous rip tools don't work. *.vpp_pc format files should probably contain stuff like *.asm_pc or *.str2_pc.
Does anyone have any knowledge and ideas on this subject?
Possibly, the files contain files such as *.ccmesh_pc, *.cpeg_pc, *.gcmesh_pc *.gpeg_pc, *.lwo, *.rig_pc and *.cmorph_pc.

A small file example
cubemaps_0 http://www.mediafire.com/file/xz50xdini ... _0.7z/file 22mb
characters https://www.mediafire.com/file/tj6jn87j ... rs.7z/file 2.1gb
Link to the game --> https://www.epicgames.com/store/tr/prod ... dated=true

Textures and models have been renewed.

None of these work, they must have changed the encryption for the file formats for the remaster unfortunately. It would be nice to try have someone look into the remaster, the models are really good quality and worth it in my opinion.

It was already explained in this topic how to extract files from vpp_pc of remastered version.
Source of web-based extractor is available here: https://github.com/lucasritter/sr-tools

You provided how to extract the textures, not the models. What are we supposed to do without the models? Plus you also said it skips normals too, that's no good to most of us here.

@Assasinge: This topic is related to extracting assets from vpp_pc archives and you didn't even mention that it's possible, which would be misleading for others. If you want to ask about converting particular extracted assets (models, textures, etc), it's better to create separate topics with proper samples in respective forum sections.
