Hi there,
I've been playing this game for a while and I'm interested in localizing this game into my native language, but I didn't find any tool to export & import it. Can anybody help me?

If anyone is interested in taking a look, here is the Coalesced.ENG file from the Localization folder:

Hi Wanz,

This is an older post, but do you still need some help with this?

I can post a quick tutorial on how to do it, if needed.

Let me know.

Sure. This is a quick tutorial using tools found in the MKSecrets.net forums (with the help of posts by thethiny, IX and UncleFestor)

How to export and import MK11 Coalesced.* files.
Tools required:

Tutorial (this works for Coalesced. or Coalesced.ini files. Adapt the instructions below accordingly):

  • Use a temporary folder and extract the MKX tools and put the dfpslayer in the same folder.
  • Use dfpslayer to remove encrytion on the file Coalesced.* A new file called Coalesced.*.decrypted will be produced.
  • Move this file to the folder inside the MKX Coalesced Extract & Repack\Original folder. Rename the file by removing the decrypted suffix.
  • Execute the Extract.bat file and provide the file name in the Original Folder.
  • The extraction using quickBMS will take place and the output will be in the Extract Folder.
  • Edit the files in the folders located within Extract. NOTE: Do not edit the Coalesced.* file inside this folder directly! Edit the other files.
  • Repack by doubleclicking on the Repack.bat file.
  • New Coalesced.* file will be produced in Output folder, ready to be used in MK11 already encrypted (the Repack.bat encrypts the file).

I hope this is clear. If you have any questions let me know.

Shokoniraya, I saw that you created a bms script for MK11 XXX files. Can you create one for MKO files too?

The MKO files contain moveset, scripts and other definitions. They are located on the folder Mortal Kombat 11\MKScript. The file is mostly unreadable (due to oodle or to encryption), but there is a portion that can be read with an HEX editor.

I tried my hand a bms scripting with no luck but, seeing as you made an XXX script a while ago, maybe you could give it a shot?

Screenshots in annex include the folder location, the start of the CHAR_Kollector.mko file and the readable portion within that file. Any help to extract these files would be great! Thanks.

Encryption is done on the Repack.bat file. However, on the technical details I can't help much.

Maybe you'll have more luck by asking the authors on the MKSecrets.net forums. :| :(

Encryption is probably missing because if i try to decrypt modified .eng Image
https://hizliresim.com/0XD4X6
it gives this error also if i try to extract modified .eng file (without decrypting) i can extract succesfully

Hi there, I know how to make the edited Coalesced.ENG file work, but it takes so much time to do that. So probably we all must wait since someone comes out and shares a tool that is working.

It was a long time ago when I learnt how to make the edited files work, but as I remember you have to watch a 30min~ video in order to use my technique.
If I find the videos that I mentioned above, I'll send a link to you.

This contains the latest file that has been extracted and repacked, this tool looks like works perfectly, but the repack is no good, because the game says BUG_ME
Can anyone look at the tools?
I want translate this game and many others too.

Thanks! It's worked.
the application is doing the encryption correctly. The game exe is erroring because the file is modified.
