There were no cef files in the archives you provided so I don't know what to suggest.
Maybe upload one of them so we can check it.

Are they still using Gamebryo? If so it could be some variant of NIF.

Poking through some of the files, it looks like they use an FBX as an import/master file, then use their tools to cook it as a game-ready CEF. Fbx2Cef2.exe is referenced. Not that it of much relevance presumably.
