so i've seen a topic like this before but it was never solved
basically i've been wanting to modify the files of the Wii versions of THQ's Cars games including Cars: The Video Game, Cars Mater-National Championship and Cars Race-O-Rama
all three of these games have their files packed into the .arc archive, i've been able to extract most of the files with some extractors, however the files didn't extract properly, some files have been in the correct folders and some have been in completely random places sometimes with the wrong name or even format and the folder that they were supposed to be in just didn't made it out of the archive
multiple extractors act differently, some extract better some worse, so i believe that the .arc files that Incinerator Studios made for THQ's games Wii port might be somehow different than other types of the .arc files, i've been wanting to ask if someone could maybe have a look at these .arc files, see if someone could maybe extract the files properly without any files either missing or being in a completely different name or format?

here is an example file .arc file from Cars Mater-National that contains the main files of the game: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13opgN2 ... sp=sharing

Thank you in advance for taking your time

Yes! i can open the arc files, thank you very much, is there anyway to fully extract the files? because when i try to export the files it doesn't really work, which makes me unable to add new files
or is there anyway to add new files?

Edit: i think that modding the game using this program won't really be possible since whenever i try to save the .arc file an error pops up, i don't think i can go anywhere with this, it does show the files sure, but i can't even extract them

Another Edit: the program is actually quite helpful i can extract the files but only one by one and that will help me by modding, only thing is it is time consuming and i just can't extract folders all at once which would save ALOT of time, is there someone who could maybe make a .bms script or something? i would be very greatful

what do you mean by it doesnt work? you should just be able to right click on the file you want to replace and hit replace then select your file.

whenever i replaced a file and tried to save the .arc file it showed me an error, but anyway i just needed to extract all the files from that .arc file, and unfortunately this program doesn't extract everything in one click and i had to extract everything one by one and put the files into correct folders which took me literally two days, because it isn't just one file that i wanna modify, the game can work if i extract the files from the .arc file that's why i needed it all extracted and having a .bms script that could extract all of it in one go would make things so so so much faster
