Increasing texture sizes in WALL-E for PC

I'm trying to use AI upscaling to increase the resolution of the textures in WALL-E. I've successfully extracted the .DDS textures from the .DPC files, but when i went to figure out how to reimport, it said "Modify the extracted files leaving their size unchanged or smaller than before." in the reimport instructions. Obviously upscaled textures will be larger. I also just haven't been able to get reimporting to work at all... Is there a way around this? If not, is there a different way to edit .DPC files that doesn't have this restriction? Thanks!
