Basically, I wanted to open up Hot Wheels: Beat That for the Wii but I don't know how to even start as I have two versions. One opens up a Terminal that doesn't do anything neither does let me do anything in it while the other one is a confusing mess opened from a tar.gz file from a coding language I barely learned yesterday just to make a ball move in Unity. Please help.

Honestly I can't understand what you are referring to.
Two versions of what?
Quickbms doesn't have any tar.gz.

There are binaries of quickbms for macosx but they may not work on all the OSX versions.
Compiling from scratch requires brew and may not be so quick.
