anyone know how to convert the .usm file to any playable format?

The format is USM CRI (a type of multiplexed MPEG), you can use the "Video Demultiplexer" -> (CRI Movie 2) feature of this tool to extract what you need:

thanks for the help, tried the vgmtoolbox which gives the .m2v and .adx file.
not sure how to convert the .adx to .wav properly, when trying to use some tools that convert it, it just gave a static sounds. tried playing the .adx to criatomplayer gave decoding error.
checking the info of .m2v using ffmpeg shows some error (not sure if it is normal or not):
