These BIN files contain some of the game data, they aren't compressed from what one looks like and there appears to be PPF, PAM, TXT and CFW2 files. The game appears to load them off the resources.xml file, which also helps us figure out their format. Any advice on ripping them? Turns out on the exts line, there's a ":"before a cursor count -> end which tells the offset of a file.

Embed xml in topic message is unreadable even in fullscreen, due to width.
Rather than including long output in message, please consider showing only short and the most important snippets.
Files better to attach (or upload to git repo/gists), especially if they contain long strings: code has no word wrap function on the forum.

Two files not presented in OP's archive:
BG_LanternPlantsWorld_Common.bin
BG_SnowyCliffsCastle_Common.bin

Sorry about that, I'll try that in the future. Thanks anyway. Adding the tag for ''BG_PointyIcePath_Common" made everything extract perfectly.
