As Kuriimu2 now supports extraction from couple of Inti Creates formats used in Gunvolt games (namely .irlst/.irarc) as well as extracting from files contained within those archives (.vap) as well as reimport them, my journey to edit the text/script in these games resumes after a long hiatus. The thing is, the only way I currently know of to get text in sorta readable format, is to:
1. Do a relative search using say, Monkey-Moore (with the word 'gunvolt' in this case), and creating an incomplete thingy table file.
2. Use the thingy table in a hex editor like Translhextion to have a sort of readable text from the file I want to edit.

Here's a link to one of the script files. It's from Gunvolt 2, namely beginning of GV's opening stage.

Obviously the above method is not really ideal. Especially if you want to create larger edits (be it for translation or otherwise) than the original script file. I don't know how hard would it be to create a tool in this case that dumps the script and then reinserts it into given file. Then it would be just a matter of reimporting the edited file using kuriimu2. Unless someone knows some other way, that doesn't require dumping, but the only one I know of is the thingy table way and as I said, it has some limits.
I can get more example files, even from different games (such as GV1 and Gunvolt Chronicles). Though there's no real names to the files inside the archives (neither .irarc or .vap) so I kind of had to sift through a lot to find the current piece of script.
Any help would be appreciated.
