I need to apply the patch on linux, but I don't know how to do it, can someone guide me?

I don't remember if lpatch works on linux too but definitely lpatch.exe should run under wine:

Anyway, as written in the comment about the linux patch, it doesn't cover both the issues so it would not be that useful on that platform.
