Hello there, I'm new here, so please excuse any mistakes I may make.

I'm trying to extract the scripts from a japanese visual novel, but apparently they are compressed or encrypted or I dont even know what in a .id file, No matter how much ive looked i wasnt able to find a solution or anything to start from. I have tried yo look at it with a hex editor, I ve tried using stuff like kaitai struct, but sadly im not smart enough to understand the data im getting.
Could anyone please help me or at least point me in a direction on where to start?

you need to perform two things: provide name of app and sample files
