Hi, i've recently been looking into Forza ZIPS, more specifically the audio files.

Unlike the Cars 3D Models Zips, they're for some reason compressed on this "Method 22" compression that Even QuickBMS wasn't able to exctract.

As far as i'm concerned, the only case that the audio files didn't had this type of compression, was in a leaked FH3 Dev build, where the files can be opened and utilized without any problem.

Would anyone know if there's anything that can be done about it, or indicate a good place as for where to start?

I'll be providing some samples alongside this post,
A Description of what which file is, is also included.

Hey everyone,

with the existing minizip script the GeoChunk minizip files from Forza Horizon 5 can not be extracted.
Maybe can someone help with this.
I can also provide a minizip file as reference if needed.

With regards to this, on this website some guy has done it with FH4 sounds files: https://www.sounds-resource.com/pc_comp ... ahorizon4/

They are not in any easy to read order mind you but...they managed to overcome the method 22 encryption somehow. If we could get in contact with the uploader on how they did it, alongside the the new juicy Granular Synth zip files for all the engine and exhaust sound file banks in FH5 we get a step closer.
