The only clue I have got is this post (https://reverseengineering.stackexchange.com/questions/22456/deciphering-an-unknown-graphics-format), but the tools to convert the dat to bin are not specified, only the procedure of reverse engineering the files up to the point they are binaries. The Python script to convert the binaries into PNG doesn't work fully either with the sample binaries.
