NASCAR 2005: Chase for the Cup (PS2) *.dat

I tried https://aluigi.altervista.org/bms/madden_terf.bms but I got no filenames from NASCAR 2005 Chase for the Cup DATs. What is *.dat and are there ways to restore and log hashed filenames from DATs?

Tried a tutorial but it doesn't support DLL injection into PS2 games for restoring hashed filenames and it can only be done for PC versions of games.

So you need the hash function which EA Tiburon devs used. You linked a cool tutorial but since it's for PC games (Obscure II) it won't help here.

Maybe search for tools for other PS2 games of said developer (where they might have used a similar hash function if you're lucky).
