While digging through the game files, I came across this file pak000.sdpk2 , is there a way to extract its archive with a plug-in/script? The game uses Id Tech 4.

Using QuickBMS, you can unzip this file. But, as far as I remember correctly, it will not be possible to unpack them back to *.sdpk2.

Yes, the script is available on the QuickBMS website. Search for “Brink”.
