Need help with Closers Online Model bones/animations

Featured Replies

Coming here to see if anyone may be able to help me with some files from the game Closers. I know already how to extract the files via this tool/method here to get the models that are in .x format and then convert the models using MeshConvertWindow.7z by selecting x binary so I can open them In PMX editor but they aren't paired with any bones. There are files within the game for each character ''Motion.XMD'' which I believe stores all the animations for the characters. Ive included a link for the raw files of one of the playable characters which is split in many parts and an NPC which is in one piece along with the XMD files for anyone who would be up for helping me to decipher and find a method to get the bones of the characters and view the animations

"Yes... Using the MeshConvertWindow tool you provided, I tried to open an .X format file that doesn't contain any skeletal data or weights; it's just a 3D model. So you should try starting with the original, unconverted .X format file."

Ok I did have to use Google translate for your reply but from what I understand from the info you gave I should start by looking into the unconverted files correct? Do you know of any tools or method that works with the unconverted files that I could use?

fragMOTION seems to load all of the models and textures just fine.

on my github in the repository of noesis plugins, find the archive fmt_directx fmt_DirectX.zip,

((for compressed "bzip" I wrote a decompressor which is also in the archive, just move the *.x file to it))

I was able to open the model with the plugin you provided. Thank you so much for this. Ive been trying forever to find a way to access the models with the bones included and I am so grateful for your help. As for the XMD files that stores the animations, do you know of a method that could open them so I can pair the animations with the models and view/export them?
