In the site it says game downloaded from microsoft store on 8 may, but when ? look at the version and cars yeah that's the 18 april version of the game.

Anything can extract car zips with normal compression, but a lot of other zips are Method 22 (hence this topic) and can't be extracted even with Forza Studio (which uses aluigi's Forza BMS script and only supports Method 21)

Yes and no, now EFS encryption is removed but a lot of zips still contain the uncracked Method 22. The latest updates of FH3 use the same compression method.

Thanks for clarifying umisery. Previously I couldn't extract F7 / Fh3 zips without forzastudio. I haven't checked all files yet but so far most seem to extract fine with winrar (from the FH4 PoD dump)

Try camera.zip, that usually has M22. I don't have the files so I can't test but there should definitely be some, not the majority, but some with M22. If not then they must've changed it with an update which would be awesome.

Yep, camera.zip throws an error.

Update:
I have just downloaded a decrypted update and camera.zip is openable.

Openable=/=extractable. Even in the latest update camera.zip is still method 22.

You are right - after last decrypted update, it is no longer openable / extractable.
