I don't know if you familiar with this issue and i reall don't know if this is related with this unpacker but when opening i3d file i have error in GE: Warning: Shape from 'xerion5000.i3d.shapes' too big (1458076 KB). Maximum supported size is 16384 KB. When in reality these files in folders are much smaller 9?658 KB. I tested main game files and there was no problem opening .i3d files. Can you explain why is that and what i can do to open them. And question will i be able to make a mod out of one tractor for example if this error is happening in GE?

Yeah we already know that, it's a very old issue without solution as far as I know.
The files extracted with the script are perfect but these i3d files have their (float?) fields obfuscated.

If the game loads the extracted files (maybe after having deleted dataS.gar), yes.
But I don't know if that's the behavior of the game.
It's better if you check the whole topic and the others on the forum to know if other users already tried it.

Well atleast i got all other files except i3d so maybe i will use those for other mod improvements such as Claas Lexion 8900 engine sound for Fendt Ideal 10T. Thanks anyway i at first didn't knew dlc extracting was possible until i somehow found this forum.

Weird thing is that some people already managed to somehow make mods out of dlc files such as xerion with tracks and more.

Hello,

The new Alpine DLC is out, but i have opend it, but the i3d is empte because he can't find the shapes file.
I made a new reference, with Notepad in that i3d, but then Giants Editor gives the error this error: Error: Failed to read shapes file 'novaCat301.i3d.shapes'.

This is the case with all the machines in it.
When I want to open the folder, my GE immediately closes with this error:
Error: Failed to read shapes file 'map.i3d.shapes'.
And many warnings that he cannot find the shapes.

anyone familiar with this problem?

Great work with this script, works like a charm.
Would it be possible you could also share decode.py and decompile.py script with us ... I have tried all possible versions but I am too stupid to understand python language.

i unlock the lua file in luabytecode language now i try to convert the luabytecode to lua , i use luajt but when run in cmd insert all file directory input and output show this error. why?

Hi everyone,
I have successfully extracted dataS.gar files. I want to edit a few .xml files. But How do I reimport it? I tried with same giants.bms file but it's failed. Is it impossible to reimport dataS.gar file? or Did I make a mistake somewhere? (used both reimport and reimport2 files)
