May 18, 20251 yr Been seeing someone on Twitter already got the models ripped, which is wild. Asked if they'd be willing to share them but they've not responded to me or ignored me.... so I'm hoping we make some headway here at some point XD
May 18, 20251 yr No updates as yet, still working on stuff. Materials are a bit of a pain, but I want to try to get them working reasonably well. I haven't seen any ripped models on Twitter, at least not fully textured and rigged, etc.

Edit: Logged into Vrc to check em and yeah. Not bad, with a few options as well. Edited May 18, 20251 yr by KitoBallard
May 22, 20251 yr Someone else ripped Kurara and Kyoshika and made them SFM ready but locked the imports behind an NSFW paywall. @theboobedone1 on X

In case you forgot, you posted this thread a month ago and there has been stagnant progress from anywhere on extracting these models so it's not a bad idea to find the few people who managed to do it so far. If anyone would like to contact the two creators who successfully extracted/ported the models, that would be fine and might give additional leeway into the process. Personally, I think I will wait just a bit more to see if there are any public downloads available

Maybe someone who is better at talking to creators like this might fair better.

I'm friends with the guy who did the Vrchat Avatars and they said that they couldn't give me the tool to rip the models from the files since his friend said not to give it out to anyone

Why would his friend command him about his own models? And why discuss ripping his models instead of detailing how he ported them in the first place? Asset ripping is extremely frowned upon in the VRChat community, however it stems from users taking the models of custom-commissioned avatars. I would hope there is less stigma around assets that are not OC such as the THL models at hand. In any case, AssetRipper is free and easy to google if that would help you pursue the models. I personally didn't want to get involved with the ethical dilemma of it and would rather the creator assist the process of making the models more available to everyone. May 24, 20251 yr I've deleted a few unnecessary comments in this thread. Can we please keep to the topic at hand.

May 28, 20251 yr Can someone confirm if the 3d model of this guy is in the files? This is him in the 3D Artbook.
May 28, 20251 yr hey, uh, i don't know what's going on in this thread, but we've had the 3D models figured out for a few weeks now. https://github.com/SydMontague/DSCSTools/tree/hundred-line <-- you need to build this yourself, but i've done it and it works. https://github.com/Pherakki/Blender-Tools-for-DSCS/tree/feature/refactor materials are a bit buggy but it exports with armature. (hundred line and digimon run on the same engine, so thats why they both say digimon) hope this helps y'all! Edited May 28, 20251 yr by casval

So I personally doubt he'll be in the files as a model.

It's so strange, I thought if it was in the artbook with the 3d model viewer, that the model had to be somewhere. Those can't be pre-rendered, right? I don't know too much about this kind of thing.
