Trying to unpack a DATA.ACD file fails (Assetto Corsa)

Hi all,

New here, I was told this is the place where I had the best opportunity to find specialised help.

For years I have been 'modding' my versions of cars in Assetto Corsa to my own taste; it is more of a hobby than the driving itself.
However; I love the physics side and my latest car, de VRC FA26, won't work anymore when I unpack the data.acd.
There are 2 .lua files in there and those are unreadable too.
I tried QuickBMS with the files they provide for acd's (and that is about how for my expertise goes for that matter) but that doesn't work either.

Does anyone has an idea on this, or even a solution?
