@EmOo , is this from your translation? 😄

In any case, you "only" need to translate the lines after the 1 string english = " line by line. You don't need to mess with the rest. 🙂

And if you just want the lines to be perfectly clean (for machine translation, I guess), you'll have to learn to regex and handle the text element. You can do this using ready-made programs like MemoQ or Trados, or you can write programs to help you process the text more easily (if you can't, GPT will do it for you). But... you can also use a csv to json converter which is easier to handle in excel and then convert it back.

tools\script_list.txt <--
This should be edited on the first and second line. the rest should not be hurt.
Now here's an example:
0 MissionTextData data
     1 string name = "Mission_Group_Name_100"
1 string english = "Diving Basics"
1 string korean = "다이버의 기본"
We only and exclusively need the text to be translated.:
Then the first row looks like this:
1 string english = "
And the second line is this:
"\r\n
That's when you get this:
Diving Basics
Bottom line: there must be a beginning and an end.

Only accepts utf-8 encoding.

In short:

1. Drag the file to be translated into the "File" folder.

2. tools\script_list.txt ( modify.)

3. !extract.bat

4. text_extract copy the resulting file to the text_translate folder.

5. translate the file in the text_translate folder. The file in the text_extract folder should not be changed.

6. !replace.bat

7. in the "file" folder from which the program has extracted the text, it will put the translated text back into the same folder.

Hope I could help.

How exactly does this DragonZH tool work? Let's say in a different game the texts are in the "name" string. Which files do I need to modify?

Send original file (text file) not txt.

This is what he needs... He wants to get rid of a lot of control lines of code and just translate the text and then translate it back. Perfect example file sent (?)

If the text format is "json" can you remove the code and change it to "txt" format with that tool?

I have another file which I think is a bit complicated, I tried adding the code in the tool but the tool won't run and the file hasn't changed and is still the same.can you set the tool so it can run.

yakuzatool.zipRun aexportall.py to export all text, edit the txt files and import with aimportall.py.  You can send the other file too.

Tools2.zipThese are the other python scripts I use, if you want to extract and import a specific key use these. Authimport just copies the same text to "4" and "5" for the English dub.

(Change the if key == "4" part}

The way i do this is i paste english translation and other language (spanish in my case) on google sheets and create a conditional formatting rule. Let's say my english text in A cell and spanish on b, i create a conditional formatting on A:A range and "same text" =B1 with some color and i filter by color.

There are probably 100 other ways to do this easily, but this is how I do it.
