joeyjojoswkytrp Posted February 28 Posted February 28 I've been working on understanding the files in the FMA:B psp game in order to try and translate it, hex editing works to a fault, everything I've tried eventually leads to a bugged text box appearing eventually. I understand how some of it works <~M0011_rdi01a> corresponds to the character talking, @n seems to be a newline character. I initially tried to just fit the text in usind MadEditMod to binary replace the japanese text. It doesn't always fit exactly so I tried messing around with where the @n newline character was. That seems to work but then always ends with a text box later on being glitched. I looked into the iso file and then I found DAT000.CPK which I extracted using DriPakGUI which gave me a bunch of files, then using Simple Pattern Search I found the dialog in the first text box in the file M001_1.srt If anyone can help me understand these files and perhaps have an easier way of replacing all the text I'd appreciate it. I'm currently stumped FMA PSP srt files.7z
joeyjojoswkytrp Posted March 2 Author Posted March 2 I got it working again by doing a fresh extraction of the files. It's still a very manual process at the moment so any help would be appreciated
