The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered

Hi id-daemon,

First of all — huge thanks for tlou2_pc_models.exe, it works perfectly for everything else!

As already mentioned in the thread, the tool still can’t extract any multi-skeleton animation packs (the ones that contain victim/NPC bones).
Concrete example: anim-bloater.pak completely crashes with

Warning! Skeleton bonecount does not match animation.
Unhandled Exception: System.IndexOutOfRangeException: Index was outside the bounds of the array.

even when all required bloater skeletons are present in the skels folder. The same happens with every other multi-skeleton kill/grab file (anim-melee-ellie-npc-t2.pak, anim-bloater.pak, etc.).

Single-skeleton animations that use exactly the same skeleton files extract without any problems, so the skeletons themselves are fine — it’s purely the multi-skeleton/victim cases that cause the crash. Would it be possible in a future update to add at least basic support for these animations, or even just a “--skip-on-bone-mismatch” flag so the tool skips the problematic clips instead of crashing? These are literally the last remaining animations that nobody can get yet.

Thanks again for the amazing work you’ve already done!
