Dead Space 2007 Prototype Model Extraction

Featured Replies

I'm requesting help with extracting the model of the Leaper from the prototype that was uploaded on nexus by RevlisilveR. It's meant for the xbox emulator Xenia.

I managed to Unpack the prototypes contents and I have the file that contains the mesh and skeletal data of the leaper, but it is in .rcb format and it's cause some complications its contents. I've tried scripts for #DS Max and Noesis but they do not workbecause they require a .rcb.win file.

I also was recommended to try and use a script for Blender 2.49 that could potentially work. I had difficulties setting Blender and Python 6 working and gave up on that.

This is the model I hope to obtain.

Just tried using the DragonFF addon in blender and it doesnt work. I also tried the itxd script for Noesis for the textures and that didnt work either. Looks like they need their own specialized scripts.

That file is too small to contain mesh data, but it does have what looks like skeleton data, and that's about it.
