  1. Hello, everyone. I am Pandora, a Guitar Hero and Rock Band here. Nice to meet you all. As of March 2025, I just noticed that Xentax/Zenhax were deprecated. It is sad that such a tragedy happened to the mod community. I actually was trying to look for help regarding reverse Engineering Guitar Hero 3 for PC, when I knew catched up with the topic. If its allowed, I share some of my links. Please, feel free to have a look. DeviantArt Thanks to the gaming mod community, I was able to extract and share these Guitar Hero 3D models from the PC Version of the game. I am specially proud of Midori and the Male Singer. https://www.deviantart.com/lindsaypandora/art/Midori-3D-Model-Guitar-Hero-3-673967952 https://www.deviantart.com/lindsaypandora/art/Vocalist-3D-Model-Guitar-Hero-3-676369139 YouTube Again, thanks to the Rock Band Modding Community called MiloHax and Emulation Community, I was able to share Performance Mode Videos of Rock Band 2 Deluxe (Unlisted at the time of this message), as well as Guitar Hero Background Videos. My most popular playlist is the PC Version of Guitar Hero 3 https://www.youtube.com/@pandoraday/playlists Again, nice to meet you everyone! Thanks!
  2. Hello, everyone. Guitar Hero and Rock Band fan, Pandora here. Please, I might need some help working with Guitar Hero 3 PC in 8K Resolution. I've been tinkering with QueenBee 1.9 and Guitar Hero Three Control Panel for in-game code and texture modding. My goal is to run this game in 8K 60FPS. My hardware allows it. I am emulating a 8K 60Hz Virtual Monitor with Virtual Display Driver. I do not own a 8K Physical Monitor. My physical monitor is 1080p 60Hz. I use OBS to see the Virtual 4K Monitor, making it Default Screen on Windows Virtual Display Driver https://github.com/VirtualDrivers/Virtual-Display-Driver With this, I can successufully run the game smoothly at 4K 60FPS. Starting from 4K, some glitching in the fretboard textures start to manifest as you can see in the attached GIF. That does not matter for me, as I am interested in the 3D background only, which works great. However, when running the game in 8K (Allowed in the game settings), the game runs perfectly fine right until before deploying the Fretboard Textures, which is when the game crashes and shuts down immediatly. This does not happen in 4K or lower resolutions. This makes me think that there might be something happening either with in-game code or texture rescaling when the game is run in 8K. I've tried tinkering around with QueenBee 1.9 for in-game code, but I don't happen to find a code related to the fretboard. I am not sure if this has to do with in-game code in the first place, I am just hypothetizing, since the game runs prefectly, right up until the fretboard deployment in 8K. It could be something with the song audio handling as well, I'm not sure. Do you think anything could be done to run the game in 8K smoothly and without crashes? I know is a really old 2007 game with a lot of limitations in the game engine, but if there is some kind of 3D Tool or something in the game code that might be tweaked, I would appreciate it. Thank you so much for your time in advance and greetings! http://i.imgur.com/3wBayLo.gifv
