UndercoverBoy833 Posted September 4, 2024 Posted September 4, 2024 (edited) yeah I know I've been asking so much about that, but I've also seen someone at xentax website did seek help for extracting assets from Ridge Racer Driftopia (before that website ceased to exist) since unpakke doesn't support this game other than Unbounded. I know that's a cancelled RR Unbounded game with online MMO like but I'm curiously enough to see such assets like models and textures. And also probably for some people who wanted to revive the game. sample link: https://mega.nz/file/eR5khILD#NzCsPffSyVkDKR1K3CFaoQf1uZv-B2h0f6o-diW0cNk Edited September 4, 2024 by UndercoverBoy833
UndercoverBoy833 Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 bumping this topic since it's been a while this topic wasn't active. xentax topic about Ridge Racer Driftopia: https://web.archive.org/web/20230513231534fw_/https://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?t=25346 unpakke tool link that supports only RR Unbounded: http://nullsecurity.org/unpakke I wanted to share the link of the game, but I'd rather not to, due to the website rules. Reason I'm bumping the topic is because: 1. Opening the doors for modders to make a revival mod project or emulate server of Ridge Racer Driftopia 2. Wanted to see whether most of assets are identical to Unbounded (cars, maps etc) etc.
UndercoverBoy833 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 (edited) Bumping this topic but I found BBFSUnpacker source code for Ridge Racer Driftopia archive. Link: https://github.com/Nenkai/BBFSUnpacker NOTE: Just be sure to create the project in visual studio to use this tool. Edited February 10 by UndercoverBoy833
Engineer shak-otay Posted February 9 Engineer Posted February 9 (edited) This requires Net 9.0 and I'm not in the mood to install it just for this "easy solution". Edited February 9 by shak-otay
Engineer shak-otay Posted February 9 Engineer Posted February 9 (edited) edit: I was thinking about using VScode or Mono with NET projects, but this will take some time. Plus, I don't know whether NET is supported well. Edited February 10 by shak-otay
