Googler123
Hi, I'm trying to eventually extract model files from this pretty old cancelled game called Ace of Angels that I didn't get to play back in the day. However, it seems the game uses a custom .aoa file format to store its assets. Fortunately a beta build is still publicly available: https://www.fileplanet.com/archive/p-79711/Ace-of-Angels-Beta-v2-8-0 I've uploaded some sample .aoa files just in case: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1d1XGbZ8diyfYkGW_010a9fYYMvWbMiem Not very well versed in reverse engineering so a look into the format with Hexinator didn't yield anything. The format seems pretty obfuscated to me at least. What I did notice is, on first startup the sounds.aoa file is rewritten and there is a schk.dat file that seems to contain mp3 and wav file names with a hex value at the end in plaintext. Can someone please take a look?
