HorsePlant Posted January 14 Posted January 14 (edited) The Dreamcast version uses a format called BMD, which looking at a hex editor seems like a very simple format. Can I get some help writing a Noesis script, and maybe a breakdown of how the format works? Thanks. SWE1JPB MODEL.zip Edited January 15 by HorsePlant
giftheck Posted February 13 Posted February 13 I'm going to post an addendum to this rather than starting a whole new topic for it given it's still a relatively new topic, less than a month old - the Aspyr release also uses this exact same format. I've done a bit of digging around and it doesn't look like there's much info on this format - most of what I've come across concerns a different format using the same extension for Gamecube games. I should explain that I'm not simply looking to rip these formats. I'm looking to be able to replace them if possible. Levels are pretty easy so far to deal with because, for whatever reason, Aspyr loads in an FBX file over the top of the original collision geometry. Breaking this format would pretty much blow modding further open than it already is for this game. JPB_Aspyr_BMD_Files.zip
