Old MMORPG file encryption

there is a MMORPG game called Seal Online and the script code are in .edt format. it seems to be some kind encryption but i can't think how it work.
there's a tools to decode the .edt, but i want to learn how the encryption work.

can anyone help me with this one?

yes the tool had decode and encode function, i am not mistaken. what i am trying to achieve is to learn how it works.
