Def Jam: Vendetta Character Model Files | Need help and/or guidance

Hello, everyone. I am attempting to rip some models from the game Def Jam: Vendetta. This is a game released in 2003 for the PS2 and Gamecube. The developer was AKI Corporation/syn Sophia, Inc. and the game was published by EA Sports BIG. I am, of course, running into some problems with the proprietary files.

TL;DR, need help extracting and exporting .act.gpl.skn, and .tpl. files (Gamecube). Or decompressing the .BIN file from PS2.

Here are examples files. I have the description in the filename.

On the PS2 version, it looks like the models are all stored in a file within the DATA folder called DATA.BIN.  It's possible some could be in the MODULES folder, but given the size of those files, I doubt it.  I did see the character models from Def Jam: Fight for NY have all been ripped in T-Pose from the PS2 version, so maybe there is a tool out there?

On the Gamecube version, it looks to be a bit more straightforward. All of the character models are stored in the data folder with each character model having its own sub-folder.  For example, DMX is in folder s305a. I know it's DMX because the texture for the character model can be previewed in BrawlCrate as part of the .tpl file (the models themselves cannot).  The files contained in this folder are .act, .gpl, .skn, and .tpl.  The only file I've seen out there for the Gamecube version is Moses, but no idea what method was used to rip. There is a game developed by the same studio in the same year that is also a wrestling-style game called Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation. I see that all the characters have been ripped from that game so maybe there is something out there?

As far as ninja ripping goes, ripping from the PS2 version gives the world, but the actual character models do not scale via the z-axis. On the Gamecube version, everything is one mesh and the textures don't apply correctly (not sure if this is something I'm doing wrong or not).

I did notice on the website ZenHax, there was a response to a post by user Szkaradek123 from Feb 2018 that gave a blend file to import the gpl file to import some stuff from these files but that file is no longer available as the website is now down. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find Szkaradek123 anywhere to ask.

I've scoured the internet and I couldn't find anything that will open and export these files. I've tried Asset builder, FinalBig, GCFT, QuickBMS, VivTool, Toolbox, and BrawlCrate. If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it. It's mostly just the DMX character model I want, but if I could figure out how to rip them, I'd gladly rip them all.

I tried using quickbms with the ps2 file. I was able to get some uncompressed pictures in the .tm2 format. Other than that, it just separated everything into a lot of .dat files along with a few .wrs, .opy, .prm, .aud, .dat, .vap, and .prm files. I did use quickbms on a .pak file, but it just then created more .dat files.

For the Blender file from zenhax, I made sure to download both the blender and python versions suggested. But when I open blender and hit Alt+P, I just get the error "Python script error. check console". I am unsure what I'm supposed to do from here. I am unsure of what to do from here.

I figured it out. In addition to making sure the .blend file is opening with Blender249, I needed to make sure the newGameLib folder from the .zip download is copied and placed in my python folder. Once I did that, Blender did finally open a window for me to select my files. Thanks for all your help!image.thumb.png.ad2cc937f5ecc8e05b2e3bc980ec59bc.png
