Did you try using VGMstream for support? I have been longing for those sound files for a very long time.

Is it possible to play them somehow, or because they are compressed in any way?

The PCM ones are raw uncompressed data and can be played with a .txth file in Foobar.  They're either mono, stereo or 8 channels by the look of it.  But the other formats are still confusing.  It's hard to tell if they're compressed or just using some weird format.  I couldn't get anything recognisable at all from those.

Which platform version of the game is this from?  And maybe add that to the thread title for clarity.  I'm not sure if all platforms will use the same audio formats.

Yes, foobar2000. Also, can you send the ripped files to us via a server like Mediafire so we can test them?

I would send it, but there are about 39 thousand files, and it will take a very long time to download, you could do the same procedure as me.

Is there any way to replace the audio in the replica streams with your own and make it work normally?

Well, it would be really cool to extract all the characters phrases as separate audio files

but ave alas, as you can see, there aren't that many interested people in this topic...

the only interesting thing that exists is this post on ZenHax, but i think it's not very informative
