I got meshes with multiple materials to properly import their materials, aswell as finally implementing vertex normals
for example Neo Conker has two materials for his body mesh, the hands and jacket, originally it was only importing the jacket texture for the full meshimage.thumb.png.1d9af9747745de5d77c060429cc53435.png

Still pretty damn good progress. Surprised that stuff is still in there since this was a remake on Xbox, but then again, probably was an earlier port before they switched over fully from Live and Uncut to Live and Reloaded.

I believe they reused their entire source files from the n64 and modified to get it to work for Direct x, inside the .xbe a lot of original files are listed in the asset manager, like pikachu's tail, and different unused Conkers, but those files don't exist in the xbox's game files

Huh. Most likely during the earlier days before they started upgrading and tweaking everything since some of the stuff from Live and Uncut from what we saw was similar and yet somewhat different at the same time. I could be mistaken though on the latter, but noted. Still, cheers to the progress and have you messed around with anything from the multiplayer or is that later down the line? Curious is all.

So I was wrong, Conker's Eyes don't rely on a shader to make them look correct, the eyes have 3 UV channels for the Pupil, Highlight, and the Eye Lids. I just recently implemented the Multi UV Channel support

3 UVs? That's honestly strange considering i'm used to seeing at least one for older games with texture swapping for some parts, but interesting that they did it that way.

i kinda have an unrelated question, but still important, will you guys release the models to the public?, maybe uploading to SketchFab or something?, just a question.

I doubt there's going to be a release when all this is said and done. Maybe the tools, but that's only if Über really wants to by any means since this is so far the most amount of work i've seen put into this compared to previous individuals who tried or found a method, but not being the cleanest way to do it. Guess time will tell.
