Instead of bumping this one I'd suggest to take care of your other requests first.

Anyways.

I was too lazy to download the samples because I found one on my hard drive:

is M4_3rd.3di a Delta Force model?

(Maybe that was addressed on March 4, 2022 on old Xentax. But not sure.)

btw, Nova 3di Lab? Sounds cool. It can convert metasequoia (.mqo) files.

Sadly Metasequoia 4 sells for $100, but there is a free version (restricted features).

Well, I feel free to hijack your thread, man.

(If you don't like that, drop me a note and I'll create a new one.)

So, surprisingly I found an msq file from 2012 on my hard drive.

It's an ASCII format, that means it's human readable:

My next test will be using Nova 3di Lab to convert that mqo file to Delta Force 2 3di.

edit: got a crash in textureDataGrid.Rows: looks like Nova needs a "special" mqo file? (The one I used is from FF IX.)

edir2: after a small "patch" a 3di file was created. Seems to contain too many zeroes, though.

and FwO 3diView but it doesn't work for character models from Delta Force 1.

From the "About" info : "It works with most DF1 3di files."

But well, I'm not surprised that you can't think of anything better than to complain instead of saying thank you to FwO Raven.

I'll leave you alone now with 3di  files. Good luck!

Keep in mind that it's voxel mesh when waiting for someone to create you a script...

Since this is a BETA importer, UV coordinates and faces may not
import correctly with some models, such as player characters.

I came across Ultimate Unwrap 3D, but it's not totally free and its plugin imports clumped or broken characters.
