This will not work. The model format was changed MANY TIMES since first game release. My tools will only work with original game files.

Ive done all the steps from owdev.wiki but it leaves me with all the .dds textures but no .obj files, i cant figure out any way to convert the .00C files to .obj

Hello everyone!
Where can I find free samples of these game models? The actual game models, not the ones converted to fbx or obj.

That would be illegal to post them. But I remember there was a way to download files from blizzard servers for free. Game will surely not work, but you can get files.

I have the game installed! I just can't open the data folder.

Anybody else willing to share some Overwatch models?

I got the game client installed, and it downloaded 6 GB of data. I tried to open it with CASCExplorer, but I don't see any data folders. I tried to open it with CascView, and I got a bunch of unknown .xxx files. What is that? :?

I found a better solution. The OverTool! Both CASCExplorer and CascView are outdated by 2 years and are very buggy.

But there's one thing that needs to be fixed. first. The CascLib.dll that comes with the OverTool is buggy. Here's a corrected version, posted on Facepunch forums:

Everything gets extracted with legitimate folder names. Awesome! 8-)

Any idea why dragging .00C file onto Overwatch_skeleton.exe won't create anything..? (exported raw .00C with DataTool, OW version 1.9).
