Blazkowicz You might not know but that was literally the reason on how and why I became reverse enigneer It took a lot of man-power to bring him back, but it was absolutelly worth it! It was an awesome pay-off for such hard work, he could also very easily end up burned to ashes in front of other trash in the recycling center if that Devkit was never found at the right moment... Here is a full extracted folder of the Aug 29 2012 Build: Which models specifically do you want to rip first? It was obviosly way, way easier than any virtualtextures but hovewer i could only extract level-architecture textures using vtex.exe and no _vmtr.pages. Members user3678 Posted December 6 Members Posted December 6 By the way, I also have a friend that figured out how to actually play the Aug 29 2012 Build on his modified source Xenia build, and it actually works! You will have the virtualtexture mapper broken but it's literally like the final pipeline, I've dumped physical virtualtextures using Nvidia Nsight Graphics and they literally looked exactly how they should been looking like.

Members user3678 Posted December 7 Members Posted December 7 (edited) I've managed to extract all, from Aug 29 2012 Build, here you can take a look at them, the only thing is, that they are very raw, the vtex method works but only for HDP textures but the .vmtr one is DCT compressed, so maybe we should ask @Luxox to share a full extracted _vmtr.pages folder. You're right, I'm a beginner but the prototype is only for Xbox 360.

No I mean the files are indentical, both are Big-Endian for vase folder, resources file, aside the executable (.exe and .xex) hovewer the DCT compression is more Rage like and no one figured how to decode Rage virtualtextures at the moment, but if you want, we can actually try to feed a lot of sample infos about the virtualtextures to Claude. Members user3678 Posted December 9 Members Posted December 9 [Xbox Controller is required] INSTRUCTIONS: After pressing A don't set HDD for the game just straight up boot into the dev menu and select the chapter, after that you will be booted into the game with broken mapper so the texures will be randomly mapped on 3D Models after that you can Use Nvidia Nsight to Dump all the models and textures or use RenderDoc.

I've actually managed to extract most of the assets (~4569 assets) aside past c10p2 map, using my script. Previously I had very similiar situation where the previous Beta was extracted easily using this script but this Reborn with full maps won't the reason was because there were some files natively "compiled" into PS3 version since it's multi-platform build: Xbox360, PS3, but non PC one. I am obviously using the Compressed and the Decompressed size info as well as starting and ending location (addresses specifically) for each failed asset to debug them easier, god level of scripting. The end markers tell A LOT I am using them to recover those poor files if something went wrong and there is one very particular headerless Compression method that has those markers. An it's also a part of QuickBMS's comptype unzip_dynamic. Edited 23 hours ago by user3678

After solving and unleashing mystery behind Wolfenstein: The New Order/Wolfenstein: The Old Blood/Wolfenstein: The New Colossus asset extraction, Tutorials, Graphic Debuggers and some comments, while keeping all the posts as clean as possible, hell I didn't even tried and got masively promoted over the past 15 days.
