January 10, 20242 yr Localization There are at least two types of i3d file formats, used within the .i3d files used in ape escape 3 and Rule of Rose uses .i3d files in .mdl files. I3D_BIN: Mesh ✔️ Bones ✔️ Skin ❌ I3D_I3M: Animation ❌ Tools: https://github.com/Durik256/Noesis-Plugins/blob/master/fmt_i3dg.py - Supports meshes. fmt_RuleOfRose_PS2__i3d.zip - Supports bones (made by Bigchillghost from xentax, reuploaded into reshax for quicker accessibility)
August 9, 2025Aug 9 I hope you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to get the plugin that supports bones to work? I tried using it on a fresh install of Noesis but trying to load any .id3 file results in an error. No idea how to fix it.
August 9, 2025Aug 9 Supporter No idea which error you mean. Since both scripts register i3d you'll need to disable one to make use of the other.
September 7, 2025Sep 7 Before when I tried it I just got an error message that said "this file could not be previewed." I just tried it again and for some reason it's now loading the models correctly but not showing any of the bones. I'm specifically looking at Rule of Rose models that I extracted from a ROM myself using a quickbms script if that makes any difference. I've double checked and made sure I don't have the other plugin installed.

September 8, 2025Sep 8 Supporter Thanks. Works on my side, using fmt_RuleOfRose(PS2)_i3d from Bigchillghost: Edited September 8, 2025Sep 8 by shak-otay
