  1. Started by jerememez,

Hello everybody. I'm completely new to the world of extracting videogame files and recently i've found myself needing to obtain the sound effects from Berserk Musou (Berserk and The Band of the Hawk) and after hours of searching, i've come up completely dry, the "linkdata" (which have .A, .B, .C and .D file extensions) files i managed to unpack using quickbms and the omega force script, however it just gives me a bunch of .dat files that when checked using TrIDScan, all come up as unknown, as opposed to the .dat files in the 'RES' folder of the game, these files do not play when i view them in VLC, the ones in 'RES' are cutscene videos that I can play normally, but thes…

  2. Now, I've been interested in the files of Star Wars: The Old Republic for a long, long time, but there have been precious few, if any, resources, that have actually attached names to the sound files, whether they are weapons, starships, druids, Wookiees, etc. Therefore, I am providing links to the sounds from the 2011 version of the game as well as hashnames to those sounds. https://www.mediafire.com/file/01ucmxqc8gfxnhl/swtor_main_bnk_audiodata_1.zip/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/gan6y6l0n83woao/swtor_main_bnk_audio_1.zip/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/o1j6t6z7dgvu7ob/swtor_main_bnk_location_1.zip/file https://www.mediafire.com/file/rkkh5qm…

Like past games by Koei Tecmo, the game always used KTSS for it's music, and ADPCM for it's voice audio data (for srsa/ktsl2asbin), but that's no longer the case. Both music and voice audio files are now the same as SRSA, and now seems to be a different audio format, since past games with SRSA files played fine in foobar with VGMStream plugin, but in this game, that is no longer the case. Here's some sample files that I've uploaded.

  11. This is a strategy game by Konami (https://konami.fandom.com/wiki/Negima!%3F_Dream_Tactic_Yumemiru_Otome_Princess). In the game's files, the music files are in AD and the voices files are in ADP (sfx are in SND but can be scanned easily with PSound, they are vag archives). When I scan the AD / ADP with PSound, I can only obtain 1 voice (which is I guess the first file stored in the archive ?). So I guess these files are unencrypted but I don't know how to extract (uncompress ?) these. Feel free to help (I guess a quickbms script is fine ?) Download link for the game's files (you can ignore the DATA folder and only check the SOUND folder) : https://me…

  12. All emt files (found in data_dx\stream) are actually clean .OGG files with 137 bytes of random junk prepending the OGG header & audio data. So to get it to play you can just remove the first 137 bytes and save the file as .ogg. I came up with a simple tool to convert between those two, what's the use of it? Well you can fetch or replace the character phrases the main menu music etc. Theres about 5K audio files in the retail copy. You can grab it here (as well as the complete SRC), I'd advise to get the -cmd zip, it's re-compile value is much much higher, it's written in C and you could compile it and get it to work on as low as Win98, maybe even 95. So as ey…

How to Convert wav or any audio files to .xvag ?

  15. I've managed to extract the game's files using FModel and extracted every data from the Sound folder. For BGM / Voice there is an already usable .awb but it has no stream name / label. For Sound Effects I've managed to extract the .awb using this python script, albeit again without stream name / label. Looking in an hex editor, I've found some strings that seems to be the stream names (BGM_01a_Overture / BGM_01b_Overture_non_coda / BGM_02_Intermezzo). But I don't know how to either get all of these stream names or extract the awb directly with stream names. Download link for the Sound folder of the game (uasset, uexp and awb) : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1…

Hi there!!! Could you please help me to extract all music files in ogg format, as they in FMOD Bank. The music stored in "streaming_music_score_global.fmod_bankc". I have applied a script "dump_fsbs.bms" on it and it gives me one big file "00000000.fsb". In Aezay FSB Extractor 16.10.21 I opened that 000000000.fsb and it shows me the music tracks in OGG format, but they have no header. I can extract it but it's no playable as it has no OGG header. I tried revorb but it says that it's not an OGG file. I think, because it has no header. I also tried fsb_aud_extr and open 000000000.fsb on it. It starts extracting in WAV, but only first file, then it trying to extract sec…

  21. Making a thread and posting the tools for extracting the audio formats from Tomb Raider (2013) and Rise of the Tomb Raider. I got them from the Xentax page related to the tools which has now disappeared. These don't work on Shadow of the Tomb Raider unfortunately, I'm not sure if anyone even ever has made a conversion for that game. I also don't know anything about anything from Tomb Raider: Underworld and beyond. Note, I can confirm these work well as you can see from the soundtrack playlists I made about 2013 game and ROTR on YouTube. However, for some reason the TIGER dumper doesn't give all of the audio files so for example some music tracks are completely m…

I'm trying to extract the game music, but in the audio folder all I have are .bnk and .wem files. Tried to use innumerous .bnk > .wem and .wem > .ogg but nothing worked. Looks like they're all encrypted. I don't know how to decrypt those so any help would be wonderful... The Audio folder has around 26.000 files in total, from some kbps to few mbps. I have attached about 5 files as sample. samples.rar
