  1. Steam version https://pixeldrain.com/u/vnmLiswn Does Homecoming have a PAK tool? Or any export and import script? As far as I know, no any tools. I think many of the game's texture files are in this archive. I want to edit the game's textures.

  2. I've been interested in trying to rip the files for the Open Season videogame to unearth any unused files present for a couple of years, found some filenames for unused stuff like a wolf character among other things in the .UMD package file which the game requires in the Xbox 360, Xbox, and PC versions to even bootup (while also using .lin and liv files for packages (.liv being exclusive to the Xbox 360 version), PS2, GameCube and Wii have the contents of the .lin and .liv files included in the main .UMD package file that's required to boot the game up. Though there's been no way to view this stuff for 18 and a half years since the release of the movie and the tie-in game…

  6. Hello. I've noticed that in the latest game updates, the game archives have started to contain models in the .model format instead of the usual .x. A hex editor shows that it's EG3D. Programs that convert the .x model format to FBX cannot handle files with the .model extension. My question is — have they changed the model format or is it encryption? Or is there an existing tool to at least convert these to .x? Or are these just some temporary formats inside the game archives?roleaction.ziproleaction.zip roleaction.zip

  9. Hello! I already searched the forums here, if anyone by any chance already had this question. I have searched the internet for such extractor too, but cannot find any. I'd like to extract that IFS archive, currently it is about 4.1 GB in size and it should contain all relevant game resources, from textures to models and other stuff too. Since the game is free to play, i installed it via Steam by searching "Fallen Earth Classic", and after installation is completed i went into the root installation folder, where the main file is present amongst other folders and files - data.ifs Are there any tools here on this website that can work…

  10. Hi! This app has a bunch of files combined into a single file, and relies on a file called "filelist" to use them; it even includes the filenames of the original. I can't figure out how to separate the files while also preserving the original filenames from the filelist, thanks. Below are all of the game files: raw.zip

  13. Is it possible to extract the game's files? such as Characters, stages, etc. The character files and stages are inside the game's OGA.apf file, However i can't get to them. The game seems to use some kind of FSM for the files within the .apf and the game's setup.dat. .apf file https://drive.google.com/file/d/16Q1NcDW6FXQkjWmuD-5bjdnlkjr_HQ-N/view?usp=sharing setup .dat file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tN8L5-uXMS6vGWscmE9x5WiB6yH9LGqA/view?usp=sharing edit : the game also might be using zlib compression on some of it's files? edit2 : the game might be using FST(s) alongside the FSM(s)? within the .apf stage, character, estoric folders s…

  15. Hi everyone! I was so glad to find this forum because I have been trying to figure out for weeks how to crack a somewhat old and somewhat obscure, and notoriously a little tough game file format in order to get to the dialogue files. This post might be a little long as I give background and explain the difficulty with this file format, so I apologize in advance if it is too much information! A little background, Absolution is one of very few games that uses this file format and every single game file is stuck in this format (in comparison to the older games, which have some proprietary formats but the files are largely pretty easy to explore around in). I have been c…

  19. Okay, I know that this may seem a bit random, and I am not sure if I am in the right section but I am searching for the incredibly obscure and lost PC version of Spogs Racing. It was only ever for sale on Direct2Drive from 2008 to 2010/2011. I have a wayback machine link here (https://web.archive.org/web/20080804062412/http://www.direct2drive.com/6199/product/Buy-SPOGS-Racing-Download). Now here's the reason I came here specifically. Through some searches I found this archive: http://www.ph33rinc.net/aluigi.altervista.org/papers/detection.cfg I've asked a few people and apparently it should be some log from QuickBMS. This implies that someone had the game to do …

  20. I'm trying to decrypt the encrypted .json.pfenc files that you get when extracting uds00.ucp from any recent playstation PC port I already tried searching through the game executables & PlayStationSdk.dll but couldn't find the signature/magic number in them. I've also tried it with dynamic analysis but I'm not good enough in that yet to get anywhere useful, only thing I saw was that it uses the standard microsoft bcrypt.dll library. Seems to be built like this: u32 magic_number; // 95 95 9E E6 char uuid[0x24]; // ex.: 4b5b5128-f8dd-4cd1-bbba-1e12fb6b6063 u8 data[...]; // no byte alignment/block size Samples (archives named after source game): …

  21. Anyone able to make a script to extract the .resources files for this game? It's probably based off of the Wolfenstein 2 file format since it is the same developer. I attached a sample resource file indy.zip

Are there fixed alternatives that unpack data from Morrowind.bsa with restored filenames, and does anyone have a file format specification? 24. When you open the .ipa of the game you have 2 files, main.dz and nacht.dz. These are easily enough extracted with dzip (found in the Marmalade SDK). Now you get a bunch of .group.bin files which seem to be data bundled together and this is where it gets tricky. Going through the files in hex viewer there is definitely images (I've attached a couple) in some of the files that can be found, also some .lua script files, but not everything is laid out plainly in the files. I found a brief overview about IwResManager which is I believe is what was used to make the .group.bin https://www.drmop.com/index.php/2011/10/01/marmalade-sdk-tutorial-marmalades-resource-managem…
