Hello. First of all, I am new to this website, I still gotta get used to some of the stuff here and all that. Second of all, this is a post with a question regarding the types of files for PGR 2, because I've been trying to deal with these models for many time now. I tried many things, from ripping on CXBX Reloaded with Ninjaripper 1.7.1 (with pretty acceptable results, but it's not the full model of the vehicle) To even using a program known as Renderdoc. I also did tons of research on how to extract the models, and trying different softwares like Hex2Obj, Milkshape 3D and 3D Model Researcher, which in my end lead to completely dead ends, …

In Doom: The Dark Ages, there are 3 different varieties of additional content: DOOM: The Dark Ages - Premium Upgrade DOOM: The Dark Ages - Premium Content DOOM: The Dark Ages - Preorder Content However, there a select number (5 i counted so far) of skins/unlocks that aren't listed on steam. The only way to access these are by using a specific code on the Bethesda website that unlocks them in game, no "DLC" needed People did this for Doom Eternal to unlock missed content, so it could definitely be replicated for the new game but i'm unsure how, i'll link the unlocker for that below incase anyone can replicate it https://www.…

Hi all! I've been tampering with Kamen Rider Gotchard File - it's a game released in Japan only that features new models of multiple characters that don't have them in other Kamen Rider games. I've managed to extract the files, but unfortunately it looks like they may be encrypted. I noticed in the file system there is something called "FAT"; I think it's an encryption method. However, I've decompiled the APK and everything and I can't seem to find a key. Unfortunately, I'm not much of a coder, so if there's a way to decrypt these via reverse engineering, I may have overlooked it. Any tips or advice? Thank you! Sample files attached below. …

Hello, everyone. I am attempting to rip some models from the game Def Jam: Vendetta. This is a game released in 2003 for the PS2 and Gamecube. The developer was AKI Corporation/syn Sophia, Inc. and the game was published by EA Sports BIG. I am, of course, running into some problems with the proprietary files. TL;DR, need help extracting and exporting .act, .gpl, .skn, and .tpl. files (Gamecube). Or decompressing the .BIN file from PS2. Here are examples files. I have the description in the filename. On the PS2 version, it looks like the models are all stored in a file within the DATA folder called DATA.BIN. It's possible some could be in the MODULES folde…

Using the QuickBMS script, I've extracted .pcm files -- apparantly they are pcmesh files (or .gcm/ gamecube mesh for gamecube... etc...). I can find the vertex, uv's, and index data easily however, the index's are warping to random vertex points making the mesh look like a porcupine. i.e: if I open the wolverine pcm model, I can find the vertex's at 0x10000, with a padding of 52, and make a point cloud; the index at 0x1a50, but face triangles are jumbled. I think it's due to submeshes, but I can't find any markers for them (kinda new to this shit tbh). attached some of the pcms, can anyone help me figure out the faces to make the models look corr…

Hi there, I proceeded in exporting Fujimi Kaido from the game and I don't manage to import the .psv file of the track successfully into 3dsimed3. I selected the Forza 7/Apex format for .pvs and 3dsimed3 imports the track completely blank. Proceeded in exporting the textures and converting them but I need the help in importing it. If anybody can help with that, I'd appreciate it a lot. The end goal is to get it exported to a 3D format like FBX / OBJ.

Hello, my goal is to extract models from the PS4 remake of Shadow of the Colossus. I found QuickBMS and have read the documentation and watched various videos on how to use it. I cannot find the right .bms script to use though and I have not tried to write it myself, hoping that someone here can help. I have the .pkg file for the US version of the game (CUSA08034) and have tried extracting the .pkg file using quickbms_4gb_file.exe with the 2 different .bms scripts. First with teamico.bms. This didn't work. Here's the output offset filesize filename -------------------------------------- 0000000000200000 0 0000000000000000.dat 0000000034333…

Hi there... I could use some help in extracting the files from Flaklypa Grand Prix Gold Edition. There are several .pak files that seem to be one big archive split into chunks. The game is made in Unreal but I couldn't figure out more. I was able to open the .pak files with watto game extractor but couldn't extract any model files. No luck with QuickBMS either. I hope someone can help me here. I uploaded the first of the .pak files below... sample .pak

Hey, everyone! I recently re-discovered an old game available on the Xbox 360 Live Arcade back in the day called "Hybrid", developed by 5th Cell. I managed to extract the files however textures, models and sounds are compressed and not recognized by any tools. For instance, the .MDL files are compressed with LZMA as far as I could see in the file headers. I will upload a sample of each (sound, model and texture). Best regards! Hybrid_Sample_Files.rar

Hello, everyone. I'm writing this because I'm looking for help extracting a model for this old game. The file I attached is sample of devil may cry 1. The format of the file is 'emd'. This seems to be the same format used for old Resident Evil 1, 2, 3. https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/residentevil123/tutorial-and-explanation-to-the-extraction-of-resi-t3282.html I tried converting this model using the tools in the link above, but I failed. If you refer to the tool above, I expect it to be easy to analyze this format and create a tool to convert the model. of course, I'm not an expert analyzing formats, so I'm not sure of this. sorry. This is a fairly old gam…

Is there a way to decrypt and unpack encrypted KN5 model files of Assetto Corsa from Content Manager and Custom Shaders Patch? (Not vanilla ones from Kunos). AFAIK, CSP already decrypts them to load them ingame since each encrypted KN5 contains an encryption key which CM reads it so that CSP can decrypt it to load the car inside the game. Is there perhaps a tool/program or script which can somehow intercept the unencrypted KN5 externally outside of the game or the encryption key, or is it even possible to directly edit the KN5 in someway? Or maybe it's also possible to reverse engineer the KN5enc to turn it into a decrypter? I provided below an example of s…

I'm excited to share a new tool I developed for extracting game assets from Forbidden West. If you've ever tried modding this game, you know the existing tools are a nightmare. So, I built something to make our lives a bit easier. Here's what it does: Automatically extracts all models, textures, and animations from Forbidden West. Gathers and merges all skeletal meshes into ASCII files for easy use in Blender—yes, it comes fully rigged! Compiles all robot data and meshes. Creates helper files for robot skeletons. Organizes everything neatly into a “Final” folder. This tool uses the one from id-daemon from this post. Without it th…

Hi guys im looking for some help to understand the files from the game mentioned on the title, the file that im attaching is a ball model the only thing i was able to tell was this 4 bytes magic(NUDP); uint size; //unknown data until offset 0x114 uint id1?; //some id that indicates if its vertex data? in some models is 0x01000103 or0 x01000105 uint unknown; uint vertexCount; 16 unknown bytes vertex data, 32 bytes per vertex (still unsure but most of those values looks like floats) uint or float unknown2; uint id2?; // depends on the model, in this case 0x010003030 uint fixed1; //always 0x20 uint fixed2; // always 0xffffff7f triangle data? any help would …

Hello. I'm looking in how to extract these bnk files from the Xbox 360 version of Test Drive Unlimited. These bnk files contain the following: 3DG (this is the file format for the meshes) and 2db (this is the file format for the textures) The PC version of this game also has bnk files which can be opened in software like 3dsimed however for the Xbox 360 version of the game they cannot be opened. The main reason as to why they won't open is due to the files from the Xbox 360 version are in big endian whereas the ones in the PC version are in little endian... Is it possible to convert big endian to little endian? And if not is it possible to extrac…

Hello, I believe this is a good place to have this topic, anyways, I want to know how I can extract the models from the following 3 games: Monster Rancher 3 (2001), Monster Rancher 4 (2003), and Monster Rancher EVO (2006 in the states, 2005 in Japan). These 3 games are for the PS2 console, and I want to know how to open the .dat files of these 3 games. I'm willing to accept your wisdom, provided that you know what you are teaching me. I thank you in advance, and I also provided 3 screenshots, one for each of the 3 games, and all of them are Monster Rancher related.

Hello all, I hope this is right forum. I've been trying to get the models from an old PS2 game called Dead to Rights 2 for the ps2. I've done alot of digging around to find the models and have okayish success. Here some info I've found during my search to get these models. What I know is the game was made using I believe the last version of Renderware 3.7. I do know it was 3.7 for sure. The textures are baked into the model. I think that's the correct word. As in the model itself contains the textures along with it, and not in a separate file. Using a couple of tools, I was somewhat successful in opening the models so, Im hoping thats some clue it …

can someone help me with Real Racing 2 car models? iirc this mobile racing game from 2010 probably using Mint3D engine for the file format. PVR Textures were readable with pvrtextool so I don't think I need help with. Sample M3D model Fun fact: You might be thinking Firemint is related to Firemonkeys studio, yes these are the same dev studio before being bought out and merged with IronMonkey by EA.
